This
picture was captured in the very early morning on Valentine
day 2007 in Luang Prabang, Laos. It was one of the most
beautiful moments in my life. The picture of people
who were waiting to offer food to 250 monks was so peaceful
and the long line of orange robe and the color of the
morning light made that morning especially wonderful.
Luang Prabang,
at the time I visited, is still little damaged by the
materialism. But it is growing so fast and it might
be a little too fast. The influx of visitors is changing
this small town. The picture of these monks reminds
me how pure of this land still is. I just hope when
this town becomes totally a tourist destination, this
beautiful picture will never fade away.
