Hillary in 2008?

05/26/05

I just watched the interview of Mrs. Clinton by Judy Woodruff in CNN. The new poll is suggesting that more than 50% of the American will likely to vote for her to be the President. That is good news, isn’t it? She is one of my favorite people. I think she is very eloquent, solid, ambitious and smart. However, in the interview, she was very evasive when she was asked to pledge not to run for the Presidential race in 2008.

However, I believe to finish that line, she has an uphill battle. As Joe Klein said in Time Magazine, she is still a very polarized figure since the Medicare Reform debacle in the early 90s. However, if we still remember, last election, Gorge W. Bush was also the highly polarized president as well and he got elected.

Klein continued to argue that her dream of becoming the first woman President might be doomed because of her husband’s sins. There are still a lot of people who hate Bill. What is the role will he has if she gets elected?

Now, her future of becoming a presidential candidate is pretty bright. All polls suggest that she is far ahead of her Democrat rivals like John Edwards or General Clarke. She has raised millions of dollars for her campaign. She has numerous loyalists who are enthusiastically want to put her in the White House. For herself, she is trying to move to the center of the politic in term of gays’ right, abortion and God issue. In term of her military matters, she has impressed her colleagues of both parties on the Armed Services Committee.

I do realize her problems, and how difficult will it be but who knows if the Republican President and the congress keep fucking up this country until 2008.

She might have a shot!!

If I just had a right to vote, I could definitely vote for her!!

GO HILLARY!! I LOVE YOU!!
