It's Hard to be Hillary Clinton

When you are this powerful, some men are intimidated by you, some women are jealous of you.

When Hillary decided to abandon her promising future to marry a poor lawyer and move to Arkansas, she was questioned by feminists.

When she kept her last name while she was being married to Bill Clinton, she was criticized by those traditional women

When she was entrusted by her husband to be a part of his white house team, she was called a bitch by men.

When she decided to stay in a relationship with Bill whom, for the past twenty years, she had been in love with, she was called ambitious bitch by everyone.

A lot of people believe the only reason she became a senator of New York State is because her husband’s name is Bill Clinton.

Part of it might be true but people do not realize that with her own ability, with or without Bill Clinton, I believe she could have become a senator or whatever herself.

Hillary Rodnam was well-known with her intellect, determination and courage long before Bill Clinton.  She had become the first female at the most prestigious law firm, Rose Law Firm, in Arkansas, and was listed as one of the one hundred most influential lawyers in America in 1988 and 1991.

No one seems to realize that the relationship between Bill and Hillary is a co-dependence. To assume that Hillary would not achieve political future without Bill is flat wrong, in fact, no one seems to assume the opposite to Bill that without Hillary, he might not even be the President. When her poor husband was campaigning to become a governor, she was the one who provided bread and butter to the family through her work at Rose Law Firm. She is strong and disciplined; she was the one who saved Bill Clinton’s presidency.

No one really understand why she decided to stay with her playboy husband but just to simply conclude that her decision was based on her eyes on the Presidency when the incident happened in 1997 was absurd. I am always skeptical when someone said the only reason that she is still with Bill Clinton because of her ambition. That kind of accusation just tremendously discounts human emotion, love and loyalty. As family issues advocate herself, she might not want to see Chelsea live her life without mom and dad together, as a dedicated and loyal wife, she might not want to sink her beloved husband’s presidency.

I do not believe just her pure ambition; she would swallow the bitterness of public humiliation.

For someone who are still hung up with her divorce, it might be time to go back to their family and look around if they are living in the same situation. I don’t try to assume why someone is still staying in the abusive relationship or with obnoxious and loser husbands. But just to naively assume that Hillary stays in the relationship because of pure ambition is absurd. We are human not robots!

Oh and please stop saying if my husband did this to me, I would do this to him especially for someone who is living in that situation, that bold statement is nothing but a burp from their chicken gut.

And what’s wrong with being ambitious anyway? Only losers would not have this great gift from God!
